A molded pulp part cannot be better than the mold that forms it: the tool sets draft angles, wall thickness distribution, texture, and how evenly the vacuum draws fiber. Design decisions — draft for release, ribbing for strength, depth for draw — are made once in the tool and repeated in every part.
