How long does custom molded pulp development take?

A typical timeline runs four to eight weeks from approved drawing to production-intent samples, with tooling in the middle. Design review and drawing approval take about a week, tool fabrication one to three weeks depending on mold complexity, first-article sampling about a week, and one to two iterations of correction before approval.
