How We Work
Precision wet-press molded pulp manufacturing — from concept to delivery, engineered for consistency.
6-Stage Manufacturing Process
1
Inquiry & Feasibility
- Send your CAD files, technical drawings, photos, or physical reference samples
- Our engineering team assesses: material compatibility, mold complexity, achievable tolerances, production volume feasibility
- Within 24 hours: Technical feasibility report with preliminary tolerance assessment (±0.3mm capability check)
2
Engineering & Quotation
- 3D mold model development with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis
- Material recommendation: virgin kraft, recycled blend, bagasse, bamboo — selected for your specific strength, surface, and certification requirements
- Formal quotation: unit price, tooling cost (single vs multi-cavity), sampling timeline, mass production lead time
- Typical: 3-5 business days for complex wet-press projects
3
Tooling & Sampling
- Mold fabrication: 10-15 days for precision wet-press molds (aluminum tooling, CNC-machined)
- Round 1 — Structural (7-10 days): Dimensional verification, fit test, basic form
- Round 2 — Surface & Color (5-7 days): Texture matching, color ΔE validation, embossing detail
- Round 3 — Gold Sample (5-7 days): Production-ready sample, signed off for mass production
- All samples shipped via express; digital QC report with measurements for each round
4
Production
- Dedicated production line with wet-press stations assigned to your project
- Real-time monitoring: temperature, pressure, dwell time logged per cycle
- In-line QC at 4 checkpoints: pulp consistency → wet forming weight → press parameters → finished product inspection
- Cycle time: 15-25 days depending on mold cavitation and volume
- Progress updates: photos and short video every 3 days via your preferred channel
5
Quality Inspection & Release
- Final QC: AQL 1.5 Level II (medical/premium), AQL 2.5 Level II (industrial/standard)
- Third-party inspection: SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas — arranged at your request
- Certificate package: ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (medical line), EN 13432, ASTM D6400, OK Compost, FSC chain-of-custody, MSDS
- Medical line: full Device History Record (DHR) with batch traceability
- Your approval required before shipment release
6
Logistics & After-Sales
- Incoterms: FOB Shenzhen, CIF, or DDP — flexible to your supply chain
- Loading supervision with container photos; packing list + B/L within 3 days
- 15-day post-delivery check-in — we verify everything arrived intact
- Quality issue resolution: priority replacement line; warranty coverage detailed in contract
- Mold storage: climate-controlled, labeled, ready for reorder within 5 days

Note: Prices are indicative and depend on design complexity, volume, certification requirements, and material selection. Tooling cost is one-time and fully client-owned. Volume discounts apply at 50K+ and 100K+ annual commitment.
What We Don't Do
Manufacturing boundaries — integrity builds long-term partnerships:
- We don't cut corners on mold precision to reduce tooling cost — ±0.3mm is our standard and we won't compromise it
- We don't accept orders from entities in sanctioned countries or industries
- We don't copy patented designs without the patent holder's written authorization
- We don't use non-certified recycled content in medical or food-contact products
- We don't subcontract your project to other factories — 100% in-house manufacturing
FAQ
How long from inquiry to first sample for a custom wet-press project?
Typically 18-25 days: 3-5 days for engineering + 10-15 days for mold fabrication + 7-10 days for first structural sample. Complex multi-cavity molds may add 5-7 days.
What if the wet-press sample doesn't meet specifications?
Round 2 finishing adjustments are included. Round 3 gold sample is also covered unless the specification changed from the original brief. We track every revision against the signed-off specification sheet — no scope creep.
Can YisenPulp handle medical packaging with full regulatory documentation?
Yes. Our ISO 13485-certified line provides complete DHR (Device History Record), material certificates, sterilization validation reports, and batch traceability documentation. We've successfully supported Thai FDA, ASEAN MDD, and FDA 510(k) submissions.
What certifications does YisenPulp hold?
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 (medical line), EN 13432, ASTM D6400, OK Compost, FSC chain-of-custody. Additional certifications can be pursued for qualified projects.
Do you offer OEM for small brands or startups?
Yes. For startups, we offer reduced MOQ pilot runs (3,000 units) to validate market fit before scaling. Tooling cost is the same regardless of volume — the investment is in the mold, not the minimum run.
Can you ship directly to Amazon FBA?
Yes. We support FBA-compliant labeling, bundling, and palletization. DDP to Amazon warehouses available with our logistics partners. FNSKU labeling and poly-bagging at no additional cost for orders above 20,000 units.
