The 6-Stage QC Process

Quality isn't a final inspection step — it's built into every stage from raw material to finished carton. Here's how we catch issues before they reach your loading dock.

Stage 1: Raw Material Incoming Inspection

Every batch of bamboo, bagasse, and FSC wood pulp is tested before entering production. We reject material that doesn't meet spec — no exceptions.

Stage 2: Slurry Consistency Control

Pulp slurry concentration is continuously monitored during mixing. Consistency directly impacts wall thickness uniformity and surface quality.

Stage 3: Forming Inspection (In-Line)

Every forming cycle is monitored in real-time. Operators check the first piece of every shift and after every mold change.

Stage 4: Drying & Curing QC

Post-forming, products pass through controlled drying. Moisture content is the single biggest predictor of mold/warping in transit.

Stage 5: Finished Product Sampling (AQL 2.5)

Statistical sampling inspection per ISO 2859-1, AQL 2.5 Level II. We pull samples from every production batch and run the full checklist.

Stage 6: Pre-Shipment Final Audit

Before any container is sealed, our QC team does one final walk-through. We open random cartons, check packaging integrity, and verify quantity against the packing list.

Batch Traceability

Every production batch receives a unique ID that traces back through the entire process:

Batch ID → Production date & shift → Raw material lot numbers → Mold ID → Process parameters → QC inspection records → Shipping manifest

If a customer raises a quality concern 6 months after delivery, we can pull the complete production record for that batch within 30 minutes. Full traceability isn't just good practice — it's the foundation of continuous improvement.

Non-Conformance: What Happens When Something Goes Wrong

No factory is perfect. What matters is what happens when issues are found:

  1. Immediate containment — affected batch is quarantined, adjacent batches are flagged for re-inspection
  2. Root cause analysis — within 4 hours, our QC lead identifies whether the issue is material, process, or mold-related
  3. Corrective action — process parameter adjustment, mold rework, or material substitution — implemented same shift
  4. Client notification — we tell you before you find out. Photos, data, corrective action plan — within 24 hours
  5. Preventive update — the lesson is added to our QC checklist so the same issue doesn't repeat across other clients
